Competition intercooler kit for Opel Astra J OPC

Opel Astra J OPC 2.0 Turbo 206KW/280PS (2012-2018)

The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (615mm x 450mm x 56mm = 15,498cm³) and thus offers a 15% larger airflow area and 115% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance core (Tube Fin) ensures sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very lightweight. The intercooler therefore has a total weight of just 7.5kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal airflow. An air duct integrated in the end box enables homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance core. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to Ø 67mm, which is why this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less backpressure than the standard intercooler. Additionally, all our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is simple and straightforward, simply replacing the OEM intercooler. All our products are subject to continuous quality control.
