Competition intercooler kit for Opel Astra J OPC

Opel Astra J OPC 2.0 Turbo 206KW/280PS (2012-2018)

The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (615mm x 450mm x 56mm = 15,498cm³) and thus offers a 15% larger airflow area and 115% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient air flow and is also very light. The intercooler therefore has a total weight of just 7.5kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal air flow. An air duct integrated in the end box enables the Competition high-performance mesh to be filled homogeneously. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to Ø 67mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to carry out. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
