The Competition Package for the Audi RS5 F5 consists of the intercooler upgrade kit and the water cooler upgrade kit.

The intercooler upgrade kit:

The 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839) of the Audi RS5 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. The charge air cooling process is therefore realized by a water-cooled intercooler, which has been replaced by the WagnerTuning high-performance intercooler.

The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler features a new performance core measuring 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm. This was specifically developed for the demanding requirements of the RS4/RS5 engine and offers 185% more external core volume than the original intercooler. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer while simultaneously enabling the best possible internal airflow. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed using CAD and optimized with the aid of CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal backpressure. This kit is also suitable for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!

All WAGNERTUNING intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting, anti-corrosion coating, ensuring a lasting cooling effect. Installation of the system is also straightforward and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.

The water cooler upgrade kit:

The 2.9L V6 biturbo engine in the Audi RS4 / RS5 is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. Instead of using ambient air as the cooling medium (as usual), the charge air is cooled using a dedicated cooling water circuit. A reduction in the coolant temperature therefore directly translates into improved charge air cooling performance. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play.

The newly developed Competition racing core of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the cooling volume of the standard water cooler by a total of 55%. The ratio of inner to outer cooling surface used generates maximum heat transfer while still allowing sufficient airflow for the adjacent components (e.g., the engine water cooler located behind it) to exchange heat. Furthermore, the water coolers are equipped with a heat-conducting, anti-corrosion coating, ensuring a lasting cooling effect. Installation of the system is also straightforward and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.
