The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (530mm x 205mm x 95mm = 10,300cm³), offering a 20% larger airflow area and 86% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. It utilizes a new type of Competition high-performance core (Tube Fin), developed specifically for the requirements of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. The intercooler inlets and outlets have not been modified. The intercooler's backpressure is identical to that of the standard intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is achieved by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality control.
