VW Touran 5t swiveling trailer coupling retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW Touran 5T with the original swiveling tow bar.

We supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original swiveling trailer coupling / AHK.

This means you do not need to install a universal trailer hitch from the accessories.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the trailer hitch using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Installation time: approx. 4 hours

Please provide the chassis number during the ordering process.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from the 2023 model year with an installed PR number of NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so we can verify this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g., 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

This retrofit package is suitable for ALL VW Touran 5T models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants (e.g. with or without electric tailgate / sensor-controlled tailgate opening, etc.) for retrofitting the original swiveling tow bar.

The original swiveling trailer coupling folds out after pressing the new button (which is located in the left trunk panel).

The original system is installed and operated as it was at the factory; no special work is required as is often the case with some aftermarket systems. For example, the automatic deactivation of the parking aid when towing a trailer, the increase in cooling performance, etc., naturally works.

The final activation is done entirely with the included KECODI coding interface!

No activation by your VW partner via SVM code or manual coding is necessary.

This makes it possible to easily install the original VW Touran 5T electric / automatically folding / swiveling tow bar.
