Significantly enhance your VW Touran 5T with the original rear view camera.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera - suitable for your VW Touran 5T with already installed trailer maneuvering assistant.

In these models, the push button with integrated "rear view camera" is already installed at the factory - it is just not electrically connected and not "activated".

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from the 2023 model year with an installed PR number of NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so we can verify this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g., 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera is possible on all VW Touran 5T models of all years of manufacture with a built-in trailer manoeuvring assistant (= e.g. PR number 8A9; display in the multimedia system when towing a trailer - these models already have the push button shown with full rear view camera function installed) as well as with one of the following built-in multimedia systems:

Navigation High (PR number: 7UG or 7UP / 7UH)

Navigation Standard (PR number: 7UF, 7UT)

Composition Media (PR number: I8F in combination with PR number: 9WT or 9S8 or QV3)

NOT suitable for other multimedia systems.

These VW Touran 5T models already have the correct push button with a full-fledged rear view camera installed at the factory - it only needs to be wired and activated.

The supplied cable set connects the existing camera to the multimedia system located in the glove compartment.

There is an active auxiliary line/auxiliary field display as the original system - thus with ALL functions as installed at the factory.
