The chrome surface is roughened to maintain its paint resistance and smoothed to a paintable finish. The surface is then primed and painted several times in a high-quality matte black finish.

Assembly:
Loosen the old emblem by heating it with a hairdryer, for example, and then pull it off.
Put the original emblem supplied here back on - DONE!!
