VW Touran 5T electric tailgate / luggage compartment lid retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW Touran 5T with the original electric tailgate.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original electric trunk lid / luggage compartment lid.

You can open and close the trunk lid automatically without any effort.

The maximum opening height can also be freely adjusted.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI APP, which is already pre-configured for you, to completely automatically unlock the electronically opening tailgate.

No further activations or even a visit to your VW partner's workshop are necessary; the KECODI completes the complete activation of the electric tailgate in just a few seconds.

• - 1x all necessary VW Touran 5T original parts such as 2x actuators, tailgate button, lock / closing aid, closing aid motor, various mounting materials, etc.
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set
• - 1x activation function (= software / coding / activation) for one vehicle

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Retrofitting the original electric tailgate is possible on all VW Touran 5T models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

We provide you with the right complete package - all models can be retrofitted - all currently installed control units as well as the existing radio keys of your VW Touran are capable of this.

The opening / closing is done via:

Opening: With your existing vehicle key by long pressing the tailgate button or using the factory-installed external button in the tailgate.

Closing: With the new button on the tailgate which is installed in the tailgate with this retrofit package.
