VW Touran 5T electrically folding mirrors retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW Touran 5T with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors including ambient lighting.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original electrically folding mirrors - suitable for your VW Touran 5T.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door, with your radio key and via the new menu item in your multimedia system - as installed at the factory.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI APP, which is already pre-configured for you, to completely automatically activate the automatically folding exterior mirrors - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

• - 1x original VW Touran 5T outside mirror electrically folding right (depending on model)
• - 1x original VW Touran 5T mirror rotation switch (depending on model)

• - 1x KECODI coding interface storage box
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original electrically / automatically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all VW Touran 5T models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

We deliver the appropriate package depending on the chassis number.

As part of this retrofitting, the lighting package (= ambient lighting, LED lights in the lower parts of the mirrors which illuminate the area around the vehicle when you open your VW Touran 5T) will also be upgraded.

Please check whether the currently installed door control units are capable of the Highline equipment of the electrically folding mirrors.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine the part number of the door control units, you can either read the part number directly on the door control unit or you can read the two door control units with a tester (e.g. KECODI, VCDS, ODIS). In general:

Structure of the part number: XX0-959-?9X

Here the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

If it is necessary to replace the door control units, these can be ordered under item number: 24031.

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit must be replaced.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they DO NOT need to be replaced.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
