VW Tiguan ad speed control system

Upgrade your VW Tiguan AD with the original cruise control system / GRA.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original GRA / cruise control / speed control system in your VW Tiguan AD.

Scope of delivery:

• - 1x Original VW Tiguan AD multifunction buttons (depending on model)
• - 1x Original VW Tiguan AD airbag wiring harness (depending on model)
• - 1x Original VW activation document
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 2 - 3 hours

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original cruise control system (GRA including speed limiter) is possible on all VW Tiguan AD / AX models (also Allspace) of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants (with / without multifunction steering wheel, with / without steering wheel heating, with / without multifunction display MFA, manual / automatic transmission, with / without speed limiter).

If no multifunction buttons are installed yet, this retrofit will also retrofit the multifunction buttons and on-board computer controls.

Please check in advance which steering wheel is currently installed using the PR number of your VW Tiguan AD model: Multifunction steering wheel = 2ZA / 2ZH

Multifunction steering wheel from 09.2019 = 2FB / 2FD

Heated multifunction steering wheel = 2ZW

Multifunction steering wheel with heated Tiptronic = 2ZD

Sports multifunction steering wheel = 2PU / 2PK

Multifunction steering wheel with Tiptronic = 1XX

without multifunction steering wheel = 2PH

Compatibility check:

Only if your Tiguan AD does not have a factory-installed multifunction steering wheel do you need to check in advance whether a Highline Gateway is installed; all models with a multifunction steering wheel can generally be upgraded without any problems.

This is how the currently installed gateway is tested:

Gateway HIGH = high = suitable (the currently installed control unit does NOT need to be replaced)

Alternatively, you can remove the control unit installed in the driver's footwell and read the sticker on it.

Gateway MED = medium = not suitable

Gateway LOW = low = not suitable

Connect the vehicle to a diagnostic system (e.g. VCDS) - open control unit address 19 - HIGH / MED / LOW appears in the info field

For models without an already installed HIGH diagnostic interface/gateway, this must be replaced. You can order this control unit under item no.: 23195.
