VW Taigo CS reversing camera retrofit package

Significantly enhance your VW Taigo CS with the original rear view camera.

Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera in your VW Taigo CS.

+ Optical display of the live image on the screen as well as the static guide lines

+ Integration of the optical representation of the possibly installed parking aid (PDC sensors) in one image (as per factory)

+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Installation time: approx. 3 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from the 2023 model year with an installed PR number of NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so we can verify this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g., 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

The rear view camera can be retrofitted on all VW Taigo CS models of all years with one of the following installed multimedia systems:

Navigation High = PR number: 7UG

Navigation = PR number: 7UF or 7UT

Navigation preparation = PR number: 7UJ

Option infotainment = PR number: 8AR

Radio Entry = PR number: I8I in conjunction with DAB+ (PR number: QV3)

NOT suitable for VW Taigo models with Radio Entry (PR number: I8I) in conjunction with MirrorLink (PR number: 9WT) without DAB+ (PR number: QV0)

Suitable for all equipment variants with all parking aid systems (e.g.: front + rear parking aid PR number: 7X2, park steering assistant PR number: 7X5, without parking aid / without PDC sensors PR number: 7X0).
