After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the trailer hitch using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

No further activations or even a visit to your VW partner's workshop are necessary; the KECODI completes the complete activation of the trailer hitch in just a few seconds.

This retrofit package is suitable for ALL VW T7 bus models of all years of manufacture, all body styles and all equipment variants (e.g. Multivan, Transporter, California) for retrofitting the original swiveling tow bar.

The cable sets always included here connect the vehicle to the trailer hitch control unit, to the original button and to the trailer hitch itself - no additional cables are required.

The KECODI coding interface, which is also always included, takes care of the COMPLETE automatic activation.

The original swiveling trailer coupling folds out after pressing the new button (which is located in the left trunk panel).

This makes it possible to retrofit the original swiveling VW T7 Bus towbar.
