VW T6 cruise control on the multifunction steering wheel, steering wheel buttons retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW T6 with the cruise control system on the original multifunction steering wheel.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original steering wheel buttons with cruise control function in your VW T6 bus.

You can then control your radio/hands-free system from the steering wheel and also operate the cruise control system via this.

In addition, the multifunction display / MFA / on-board computer is operated via the buttons provided on the steering wheel.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to fully automatically activate the cruise control system via the multifunction buttons.

Retrofitting the original multifunction buttons with cruise control (= the multifunction steering wheel / MuFu) is possible on all VW T6 models of all years, all vehicle variants (transporter, flatbed, box, Multivan, Caravelle, etc.) as well as all equipment variants (with / without multifunction display on the right wiper lever, with / without cruise control on the left indicator lever, with / without already installed multifunction buttons, etc.).

NOT suitable for VW T6.1 models from model year 2020.

NOT suitable for VW T6 models of model year 2015 / 2016 / 2017 with EURO 5 emissions concept.

All currently installed control units (including the on-board power supply control unit) are already capable of this retrofitting at the factory! We supply the complete package!

Explanation of the options:

STEERING WHEEL:

Please select the steering wheel currently installed. Depending on the equipment, other original parts and other cable sets are required. Select this during the ordering process:

Leather steering wheel (= steering wheel with "blind cap" without already installed multifunction buttons, e.g. PR number: 2PH):

The black cover ("blind cap") which runs around the steering wheel is replaced - the multifunction buttons are inserted into this new cover and connected using the supplied cable sets.

Plastic steering wheel (= steering wheel without "blind cap" without already installed multifunction buttons, e.g. PR number: 1MM):

In these models with a built-in plastic steering wheel, the steering wheel is completely replaced because it does not have any "blind caps". We supply the required steering wheel and make it in leather. The airbag still fits and is simply plugged back into the supplied steering wheel.

Multifunction steering wheel (= steering wheel with already installed multifunction buttons without cruise control operation, e.g. PR number: 2ZH, 1XX):

In these models with a built-in multifunction steering wheel, the buttons and the surrounding steering wheel cover are replaced and the supplied cable set is installed.

STEERING COLUMN LEVER:

If, for example, the cruise control system is currently installed on the left turn signal lever or the multifunction display on the right wiper lever, these operating options will no longer be available after installation because these functions will then be controlled via the buttons on the steering wheel.

To ensure that the conversion really looks "like it did at the factory", we also recommend replacing the steering column lever.

If there are currently no buttons installed on the steering column lever because your VW T6 does not currently have cruise control or an on-board computer / multifunction display, the lever does not need to be ordered.

If buttons for cruise control or on-board computer/multifunction display are currently installed on the steering column lever, we recommend ordering the lever at the same time.

We supply the appropriate steering column lever (with / without rear wiper, etc.) according to the chassis number entered during the ordering process without buttons on the left and right side.
