VW T6 rear view camera Gullwing retrofit package

Significantly enhance your VW T6 bus with built-in wing doors (doors open to the left and right) with the original rear view camera.

When you engage reverse gear, the live image from the rear view camera with static guide lines automatically appears in your multimedia system.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera with display of the static guide lines in your VW T6 bus with wing doors.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you.

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera is possible on all VW T6 models up to and including model year 2019, all variants (Multivan, Transporter, Bus, Caravelle, Business, California, long wheelbase, etc.) with tailgate doors opening to the left + right (eg: PR number: 3RD, 3RF, 3RE) as well as with one of the following multimedia systems:

Navigation (PR number: 7UF, 7UP, 7UG, 7UH)

Composition Media (PR number: I8F in combination with PR number: 9WT or QV3)

Composition Colour (PR number: I6V in combination with PR number: 9WT or QV3)

Composition Media (PR number: I7A in combination with PR number: 9WT or QV3)

Suitable for all VW T6 models with all installed parking aid systems (e.g.: 7X0 without parking aid, 7X1 rear parking aid; 7X2 front + rear parking aid).

There was no reversing camera available to order from the factory for T6 wing door models. With this retrofit package, we are still retrofitting the original technology using the original VW T6 reversing camera.

INFO: The camera image is "not centered" because the camera cannot be installed in the center due to the wing doors, but the function of the rear view camera is still given as best as possible (see product image).
