Significantly upgrade your VW T6 with the original multifunction steering wheel.

Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original steering wheel buttons in your VW T6 bus.

You can then control/operate your radio/hands-free system from the steering wheel.

In addition, the multifunction display / MFA is also operated via the buttons on the steering wheel.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completely automatically activates the multifunction buttons with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original multifunction buttons (= the multifunction steering wheel / MuFu) is possible on all VW T6 models of all years of construction up to and including model year 2019 as well as all vehicle variants (transporter, flatbed, box, Multivan, Caravelle, etc.).

All currently installed control units are already capable of this from the factory - we supply the complete package.

Leather steering wheel (= steering wheel with "blind cap"):

The black cover ("blind cap") which runs around the steering wheel is replaced - the multifunction buttons are inserted into this new cover and connected using the supplied cable sets - as installed at the factory.

Plastic steering wheel (= steering wheel without "blind cap"):

In these models with a built-in plastic steering wheel, the steering wheel must be completely replaced as it does not have any "blind caps" - we supply the right steering wheel and make it in leather. The airbag still fits and is simply plugged back into this steering wheel.

When retrofitting the multifunction buttons, it is also a good idea to retrofit the cruise control system / GRA, as a lot of work overlaps here and in models with currently installed MFA (= multifunction display), the steering column stalk should be replaced with a steering column stalk without MFA buttons anyway (since with the Mufu steering wheel, it can be operated via the steering wheel as installed at the factory).
