Significantly upgrade your VW T6 with the original ASR button to switch off the traction control.

Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the ASR system for your VW T6 bus.

This means you can switch the ASR (= electronic traction control) of your VW T6 off and on again at the touch of a button while driving.

This means you can drive more easily and more safely on slopes in snow/icy conditions as the traction control no longer blocks the wheels.

The wheels spin, just like you "step on the gas."

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the supplied KECODI coding interface, with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you, completely automatically activates the ASR button.

Scope of delivery:

  • - 1x original VW T6 ASR button
  • - 1x pre-assembled cable set
  • - 1x activation function (= software / coding / activation) for one vehicle
  • - 1x KECODI coding interface
  • - 1x KECODI coding interface storage box
  • - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 3 hours

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original ASR button is possible on all VW T6 bus models of all years, all variants (Multivan, Transporter, Bus, Caravelle, Business, California, etc.) and all equipment variants.

The wiring harness runs from the new button, which is installed in the center console, to the ESP/ABS control unit. This is located in the engine compartment, accessible from above, on the left side of the vehicle.

Functional description:

Press the new button for approximately 2 seconds to switch off the traction control.

The symbol for the deactivated system then appears on the speedometer. The button itself, as installed at the factory, does not light up.

Press the button again to switch the system back on; the message in the speedometer will then disappear.
