Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the rear view camera with display of the static guide lines in your VW T6.1 bus with wing doors.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera is possible on all VW T6.1 (= facelift) models of all years of construction from model year 2020, all variants (Multivan, Transporter, Bus, Caravelle, Business, California, long wheelbase, etc.) with tailgate doors opening to the left + right (= PR number: 3RD), with all installed parking aid systems (e.g.: PR number 7X0 without PDC sensors, PR number 7X1 rear parking aid / 7X2 front + rear parking aid / 7X5 parking steering assistant) as well as with one of the following multimedia systems:

Navigation Optionsinfotainment (PR number: 7UT or 8AR)

Radio Entry (PR number: I8I) in conjunction with DAB+ (PR number: QV3) and/or comfort telephony (PR number: 9IJ)

NOT suitable for VW T6.1 models with Radio Entry (PR number: I8I) in conjunction with MirrorLink (PR number: 9WT

INFO: The camera image is "not centered" because the camera cannot be installed in the center due to the wing doors, but the reversing camera still functions as well as possible. The reversing camera is installed in the right side door at the factory, but since you would have to drill a hole in the metal of the door, we recommend installing it in the plastic component of the handle bar of the left side door according to the installation instructions provided.
