Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original parking steering assistant for your VW T6.1 bus.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the parking steering assistant with the help of the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you.

• - 2x original VW T6.1 PLA sensors painted at the front
• - 2x original VW T6.1 PLA sensors rear with bracket painted
• - 1x Original VW T6.1 grille inserts front bumper left + right
• - 1x pre-assembled cable sets
• - 1x KECODI interface
• - 1x KECODI interface storage case
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 8 hours

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original parking steering assistant is possible on all VW T6.1 models of all variants (Multivan, Transporter, Bus, Caravelle, Business, California, long wheelbase, etc.) with already installed parking aid at the front + rear (= PR number: 7X2).

NOT suitable for your VW T6.1 bus with built-in trailer maneuvering assistant (= PR number: 8A6, 8A7 or 8A8). We can retrofit this on request.

The two existing bumpers can be reused without any problem.

We supply you with PDC sensors already painted in the correct colors.

Painting work is carried out by a master automotive paint shop using your chassis number / the paint codes stored there.

If you do not want us to paint the PDC sensors, they will be delivered primed.

Approximate assembly process:

Remove the front and rear bumpers.

Insert the four sensors.

Connect these new sensors to the existing parking aid cable set in each bumper using the cable sets provided.

Then route these cable sets to the parking aid control unit, which will be replaced by the parking steering assistant control unit, which is located behind the glove compartment.

The button panel in the center console, which is simply plugged in, is replaced.
