VW T-Roc A1 electrically folding mirror retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW T-Roc A1 with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for the installation of the original electrically folding mirrors - suitable for your VW T-Roc.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door, via the radio key and via the new menu item in your multimedia system - as installed at the factory.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here uses the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you to completely automatically activate the automatically folding exterior mirrors - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original automatically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all VW T-Roc A1 models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

As standard, the exterior mirrors are delivered with ambient lighting (= lighting package); these lower LED lights illuminate the outer area of ​​your VW T-Roc at night when you unlock it.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine the part number of the door control units, you can either read the part number directly on the door control unit or you can read the two door control units with a tester. - Generally speaking:

Structure of the part number: XX0-959-?9X

Here the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

If it is necessary to replace the door control units, these can be ordered under item number: 24002.

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit must be replaced.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new, electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they do NOT need to be replaced.

The cover around the current mirror rotation switch will be replaced because you will later have one more position which can be selected with the rotation switch supplied here.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
