VW Passat B8 rear view camera HIGH retrofit package

Significantly enhance your VW Passat B8 with the original rear view camera.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera with dynamic guide lines in your VW Passat B8.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera using the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera is possible on all VW Passat B8 Variant + alltrack + sedan models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) as well as all equipment variants with one of the following installed multimedia systems:

Navigation High (PR number: 7UG or 7UP / 7UH)

Navigation Standard (PR number: 7UF)

Composition Media (PR number: I8F in combination with PR number: 9WT or 9S8 or QV3)

Suitable for all equipment variants with all parking aid systems (rear parking aid PR no. 7X1, front + rear parking aid PR no. 7X2, parking steering assistant PR no. 7X5, without parking aid/PDC sensors PR no.: 7X0).

With dynamic guide line display which changes depending on the steering angle, display of the trailer hitch (if installed), integration of the already installed parking aid / parking steering assistant and the option to change the brightness and contrast of the camera image with the new menu item in your multimedia system.

The original rear view camera is integrated in the new original VW emblem supplied here. When you put the car into reverse gear, the emblem moves up and the camera extends. When you finish parking, it retracts again.
