The retrofitting of the original LED license plate lighting is generally possible on all VW Passat B7 sedan models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

This means that no error message is generated in the speedometer / instrument cluster (license plate lighting defective).

The supplied adapters are simply plugged in 1:1 and avoid any error messages.

Finally, no further coding / activation is necessary, the LED license plate lighting works immediately.
