VW ID.4 swiveling trailer hitch retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW ID.4 with the original pivoting trailer hitch.

We supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original swivel trailer coupling / AHK in your VW ID.4

This means you do not need to install a universal trailer hitch from the accessories.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you to completely automatically unlock the swiveling trailer coupling.

No further activations or even a visit to your VW partner's workshop are necessary; the KECODI completes the complete activation of the swiveling trailer hitch in just a few seconds.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original swiveling trailer hitch is possible on all VW ID.4 models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

This complete package including cable set is suitable for Volkswagen ID4 models with (PR number: 1D8) or without trailer hitch preparation (PR number: 1D0).

The original swiveling tow bar with the 13-pin plug for your trailer falls out after pressing the new button (this is located in the right tailgate panel) and is locked into the end position by hand.

The final activation is done entirely with the included KECODI coding interface!

There is no need for activation by your VW partner using an SVM code or manual coding.

+ Including the free additional functions of reading and deleting error memory as well as the display of vehicle speed, rpm and boost pressure in the KECODI.
