Activate the display of moving images of your VW ID.3 even while driving!

After briefly plugging it into the easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here will automatically activate the "TV-Free" function using the innovative app that is already pre-configured for you.

You can then finally watch videos/films from an SD card, USB stick or even the TV tuner while driving!

The image in your navigation system no longer "switches off when you drive"!

Scope of delivery:

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from the 2023 model year with an installed PR number of NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so we can verify this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g., 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Activating the display of moving images/videos while driving (= Video in Motion / VIM) is possible in all VW ID.3 models of all years of manufacture with every installed multimedia system.

Activating/enabling this additional function naturally has no impact on the existing multimedia system, parking assistance or rear view camera system.
