Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original electrically folding mirrors - especially suitable for your VW Golf 7.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door, via the radio key and via the new menu item in your multimedia system - as installed at the factory.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here uses the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you to completely automatically activate the automatically folding exterior mirrors - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original automatically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all VW Golf 7 models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift), all body styles (3-door, 5-door, Sportsvan, Variant, etc.) and all equipment variants.

We deliver the appropriate package depending on the chassis number.

As standard, the exterior mirrors are delivered with ambient lighting (= lighting package); these lower LED lights illuminate the outer area of ​​your VW Golf 7 at night when you unlock it.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine the part number of the door control units, you can either read the part number directly on the door control unit or you can read the two door control units using a tester. In general:

Here the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

If the door control units need to be replaced, we can offer this on request

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit must be replaced.

Installation information:

The currently installed mirror housings (= "mirror caps") and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they do NOT need to be replaced.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
