Because the series system + original parts with E-certification are APPROVED and therefore ALLOWED for road use.

The retrofitting of the red OR white illuminated front door sills is possible on all VW Golf 7 5G models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) as well as all equipment variants (e.g. 3-door, 5-door, Variant, GTD, GTI, GTE / e-Golf etc.).

NOT suitable for VW Golf 7 Sportsvan models.

If LED footwell lighting is not currently installed, it must also be retrofitted for this retrofit. This retrofit package can be ordered under item number: 22781.

The existing door sills will be changed and replaced with those supplied here.

The lighting of the front LED strips of the door sills shines when you open the front door of your VW Golf 7.

Unfortunately, VW never illuminates the rear door sills.

Finally, NO coding work is required for this retrofit.
