Install the factory-installed HIGHLINE technology instead of the VW accessory rear view camera with only static guide line display.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.

Retrofitting the original facelift rear view camera with dynamic guide lines is possible on all VW Golf 7 5G models (3-door, 5-door, GTI, GTD) of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) as well as all equipment variants with the following installed multimedia systems:

Navigation High (PR number: 7UG or 7UP, 7UH or 5G1)

Navigation Standard (PR number: 7UF)

Composition Media (PR number: I8F in combination with PR number: 9WT or 9S8 or QV3)

NOT suitable for other multimedia systems.

Suitable for all equipment variants with all parking aid systems (rear parking aid PR no. 7X1, front + rear parking aid PR no. 7X2, parking steering assistant PR no. 7X5, without parking aid/PDC sensors PR no.: 7X0).

An automatic switchover occurs when reverse gear is engaged or when the parking aid button is pressed, including dynamic guide line display.
