VW Caddy SB halogen to LED taillights retrofit package

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to completely automatically activate the new LED tail lights - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

No further activations or even a visit to your VW partner's workshop are necessary; the KECODI completes the complete activation of the LED rear lights in just a few seconds.

Installation time: approx. 2 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original LED taillights WITH white LED reversing lights is possible on all VW Caddy SB models of all body styles (= suitable for Caddy SB models with upward opening as well as models with left + right opening tailgate, the identical taillights are installed here at the factory) WITH currently installed halogen taillights (= PR number: 8SA).

NOT suitable for left-hand traffic models (England, Japan, etc.).

NOT suitable for US models.

In the VW Caddy SB models with LED rear lights, only one reversing light is activated in the left rear light in the direction of travel. With our retrofit package, it is possible to get another LED reversing light on the right as well. You can easily decide yourself during installation whether the right reversing light should light up after installation.
