Significantly upgrade your VW Caddy SA with the cruise control system on the original multifunction steering wheel.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original steering wheel buttons with cruise control function in your VW Caddy SA.

You can then control your radio/hands-free system from the steering wheel and also operate the cruise control system.

In addition, the multifunction display / MFA / on-board computer is operated using the buttons supplied here on the steering wheel.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here, with the help of the innovative and already pre-configured KECODI APP, completely automatically activates the cruise control system via the multifunction buttons.

If no multifunction buttons are installed at the factory, these will be activated directly.

Retrofitting the original multifunction buttons with cruise control (= the multifunction steering wheel / MuFu) is possible on all VW Caddy SA models FROM the production date 05.2015 as well as all equipment variants (with / without multifunction display on the right wiper lever, with / without cruise control on the left turn signal lever, with / without already installed multifunction buttons, etc.).

All currently installed control units (including the onboard power supply control unit) are already factory-ready for this retrofit! We supply the complete package!

Explanation of the options:

STEERING WHEEL:

Please select the currently installed steering wheel. Depending on the equipment, different original parts may be required. Select this during the ordering process:

Leather steering wheel (= steering wheel with "blank cap" without already installed multifunction buttons, e.g. PR number: 2PH):

The black cover ("blank cap") that runs around the steering wheel is replaced. The multifunction buttons are inserted into this cover and connected using the included cable set. After the retrofit, all functions of the multifunction steering wheel are also available, such as controlling the multimedia system.

Plastic steering wheel (= steering wheel without "blind cap" without already installed multifunction buttons, e.g.PR number: 1MM):

On these VW Caddy SA models with a plastic steering wheel, the steering wheel is completely replaced because it doesn't have any blanking caps. We supply the required steering wheel and then cover it in leather. The airbag still fits and is simply plugged back into the supplied steering wheel. After the retrofit, all functions of the multifunction steering wheel are available, such as controlling the multimedia system.

Multifunction steering wheel (= steering wheel with already installed multifunction buttons without cruise control operation, e.g. PR number: 2ZH, 1XX):

In these models with a built-in multifunction steering wheel, the buttons, the built-in steering column electronics, and the surrounding steering wheel trim are replaced. No wiring harness is required, making installation even easier.

STEERING PILLAR:

Please select whether you would like to order the steering column lever:

If, for example, the cruise control system is currently installed on the left turn signal lever or the multifunction display on the right wiper lever, these operating options will no longer be available after installation because these functions will then be controlled via the buttons on the steering wheel.

To ensure that the conversion really looks "like it did at the factory", we also recommend replacing the steering column arm.

If there are currently no buttons installed on the steering column lever because your VW Caddy SA does not currently have cruise control or on-board computer / multifunction display installed, the lever does not need to be ordered.

If buttons for cruise control or on-board computer/multifunction display are currently installed on the steering column stalk, we recommend ordering the stalk as well.

We supply the appropriate steering column lever (with / without rear wiper, etc.) according to the chassis number entered during the ordering process without buttons on the left and right side.
