VW Arteon 3h swiveling hub retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your VW Arteon 3H with the original swiveling tow bar.

We supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original swiveling trailer coupling / AHK.

This means you do not need to install a universal trailer hitch from the accessories.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the trailer hitch using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Installation time: approx. 4 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from the 2023 model year with an installed PR number of NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so we can verify this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g., 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original swiveling tow bar is possible on all VW Arteon 3H models of all body styles (including shooting brake), all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) and all equipment variants with (PR number: 1D8) or without preparation for a tow bar (PR number: 1D0).

The original swiveling trailer coupling extends when the new button is pressed (this is located in the right trunk panel).

The original system is installed and operated as it was at the factory; no special work is required, as is often the case with some aftermarket systems. It naturally functions, for example, to automatically deactivate the parking aid when towing a trailer, increase the cooling performance, open any electric tailgate that may be installed, etc.

The final activation is done entirely with the included KECODI coding interface!

No activation by your VW partner via SVM code or manual coding is necessary.

This makes it possible to easily install the original VW Arteon 3H electric / automatically swiveling tow bar.
