ST XTA COILOVERS

 

ST Suspensions develops the ST XTA coilovers for particularly sporty drivers. With the adjustable damper setup from KW technology and the adjustable aluminum Unibal support bearings, the driving behavior can be extensively tuned. The highlight of this version are the aluminum Unibal support bearings, through which the camber and also the caster can be adjusted.

 

Thanks to the adjustable damping characteristics, ST XTA coilovers make it possible to further tune the damper setup individually. The damping technology used comes from KW. It allows the ST XTA coilovers to be adjusted tighter or more comfortable depending on the driver's wishes. The dampers are tuned at the upper end of the chrome-plated piston rod. If the tractive force is increased, the car drives even more smoothly and the body movements are reduced. If a more comfortable damper setting is required, the adjustment is also made via the rebound adjustment. The adjustable dampers also make it possible to change to a different rim size. But even in the basic damper setting, a vehicle with an ST XTA coilover suspension is significantly more agile and offers sportier handling characteristics than a standard suspension.

 

Easy to vary the lowering

As with all ST XTA coilovers, the lowering is continuously adjusted via the threaded spring plate. Like KW, ST Suspensions also uses a polyamide adjustment spring plate, which allows the lowering to be easily adjusted via the trapezoidal thread on the galvanized shock absorber. Changing the lowering is also possible when installed by simply turning the adjustment spring plate higher or lower. If the car has a non-wheel-guiding double wishbone suspension on the rear axle, the lowering is adjusted using the ST Suspensions rear axle height adjustment. For your information: the lowering is different for every vehicle depending on the design. For example, while older vehicle models such as the Honda Civic (EJ9) can be lowered between 40 - 75 mm with the ST XTA coilovers, the Audi S3 (8P), which is already very low ex works, can still be lowered by 10 - 40 mm.

 

KW Engineering: exclusively for ST suspensions

The high-quality ST XTA coilovers are based on the two-tube damping principle in low-friction and pressure-resistant damper housings. The dampers are manufactured directly at KW. A monoblock guide and seal package in the damper reduces friction when the chrome-plated piston rod is inserted and removed. In addition, optimal corrosion protection and multiple sealing of the galvanized shock absorber ensure long driving fun with the ST XTA coilovers.
