After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Retrofitting the original rear view camera is possible on all SKODA Scala NW1 Models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants with one of the following installed multimedia systems:

Navigation High (= PR number: 7UG, 7UP, 7UH)

Navigation standard (=PR number: 7UF, 7T7)

Radio Entry I8C without navigation function (= PR number: I8C in simultaneous combination with PR number 9WT

Radio Entry I8Q without navigation function (= PR number: I8Q in simultaneous combination with PR number 9WT).

The installation of the rear view camera is NOT suitable for other multimedia systems.

Suitable for all currently installed parking aid systems (such as: rear parking aid 7X1, front+rear parking aid 7X2, without PDC sensors 7X0, parking steering assistant 7X5).

Of course, as installed at the factory, there is an automatic switchover when reverse gear is engaged - in addition, the static auxiliary lines / auxiliary fields are displayed.
