Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original electrically folding mirrors - suitable for your SKODA Octavia NX.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the folding mirrors with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The unlocking (also known colloquially as "GEKO" / "SFD") as well as the complete activation (= the coding / parameterization and the final deletion of the error memory) is carried out automatically by KECODI in the shortest possible time!

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original automatic / electrically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all SKODA Octavia NX models of all years of manufacture, all body styles and all equipment variants.

Product compatibility:

Please check whether the two front door control units currently installed are capable of the Highline equipment of the electrically folding exterior mirrors (experience shows that these are about 75% capable and do NOT need to be replaced). You can check this by reading the part number with a diagnostic system (e.g. KECODI or VCDS) or by reading the part number directly from the door control unit.

The third to last digit of the part number is important. This must be "5". "3" is unfortunately not possible and must be replaced. Here are some examples:

Structure of the part number: XX0-959-?9X - the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

Driver's side: 5Q4959593 = a "5" - thus suitable

Driver's side: 5Q4959393 = a "3" - therefore not suitable

Passenger side: 5Q4959592 = a "5" - thus suitable

Passenger side: 5Q4959392 = a "3" - therefore not suitable

If it is necessary to replace a door control unit, this can be ordered under item number: 24301.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they DO NOT need to be replaced.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
