Skoda Kamiq NW automatically dimming interior mirror retrofit package

Significantly enhance your SKODA Kamiq NW with the original automatically dimming interior mirror.

The interior mirror darkens automatically when the light is too strong.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the automatically dimming mirror in your SKODA Kamiq NW.

Scope of delivery:

• - 1x original SKODA Kamiq NW auto-dimming interior mirror (depending on model)
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 1 hour

Please provide the chassis number during the ordering process.

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original automatically dimming interior mirror is possible on all SKODA Kamiq NW models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

We will of course supply you with the appropriate interior mirror in the correct colour (e.g. satin black, pearl grey, silver, etc.) depending on the chassis number you enter.

Finally, NO coding work is required for this retrofit.

The interior mirror has NOTHING to do with a light/rain sensor - this is a separate component which is NOT in the mirror but on the window.

This sensor, which may already be installed at the factory, will NOT be touched electrically or mechanically during this conversion.

A windshield with preparation for an automatically dimming mirror is required.

If your Skoda Kamiq already has a plastic bar that runs from the interior reading light to the interior mirror, the current windscreen is suitable and does NOT need to be replaced. The mirror is simply removed and reattached.

If your Skoda Kamiq already has a light/rain sensor or the front camera (Lane Assist / traffic sign recognition) then the "old" screen is ALWAYS capable.

If your interior mirror is only attached to the window with an adhesive dot without a running plastic bar, the window is not suitable and must be replaced with a front window with an integrated metal holder for the higher quality mirrors.

You are also welcome to send us a written email with your chassis number - we will check whether the current window can be reused.

If the current windscreen is actually NOT capable, the conversion is a good idea, for example if the windscreen is being replaced after a stone impact, etc.
