Seat Leon KL electrically folding mirror retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your SEAT Leon KL with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original electrically folding mirrors - suitable for your SEAT Leon 4 KL.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door, with your radio key and via the new menu item in your multimedia system - as installed at the factory.

You can set your infotainment system to have the exterior mirrors fold in automatically when you lock your SEAT Leon.

In addition, the LEDs built into the lower parts of the exterior mirrors illuminate the area around the door when you open your Seat.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI APP, which is already pre-configured for you, to completely automatically activate the automatically folding exterior mirrors.

The unlocking (also known colloquially as "GEKO" / "SFD") as well as the complete activation (= the coding / parameterization and the final deletion of the error memory) is carried out automatically by KECODI in the shortest possible time!

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original automatic / electrically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all SEAT Leon KL models of all years of manufacture, all body styles (including Sports Tourer) and all equipment variants.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine the part number of the door control units, you can either read the part number directly on the door control unit or you can read the two door control units with a tester (e.g. KECODI, VCDS, ODIS). In general:

Structure of the part number: XX0-959-?9X

Here the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit (driver, passenger or both) must be replaced.

If it is necessary to replace the door control units, these can be ordered under item number: 24396.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they DO NOT need to be replaced.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.

The final activation is carried out completely and automatically by the included KECODI coding interface, including the creation of the new menu item in your multimedia system. No further changes / activations etc. are necessary.
