Seat Ibiza KJ reversing camera retrofit package

Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the rear view camera - suitable for your SEAT Ibiza KJ.

When you engage reverse gear, the live image from the rear view camera with the static guide lines automatically appears in your multimedia system.

With this retrofit package you can retrofit the original rear view camera - all functions as factory installed.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Retrofitting the original rear view camera is possible on all SEAT Ibiza KJ models of all years with the following installed multimedia system:

Navigation (PR number: 7UF)

Radio High (PR number: I8F)

ONLY possible for Ibiza KJ models with built-in parking aid front + rear (= PDC sensors at the front and rear, PR number: 7X2).

NOT possible for SEAT Ibiza KJ models with installed rear parking aid (= PDC sensors only at the rear, PR number: 7X1) or no parking aid installed at all (= without PDC sensors, PR number: 7X0). These models must be upgraded to front and rear parking aid in advance. We are also happy to offer this retrofit package at any time.

Further information:

The cable set is connected to +12V, 0V ground and the reversing signal.

The cable set then runs to the multimedia system in the glove compartment and is connected/pinned there.

The rear view camera itself is installed, as factory installed, centrally between the license plate lights in the rear bumper.

To do this, you cut out a square recess as recommended by SEAT in the repair shop and insert the camera using the supplied holder.
