Mobile radar detector One S Black Edition from Genevo
The Genevo One S Black Edition portable radar detector is the third generation of the portable Genevo One series. The Genevo One S Black Edition is the further development of the highly successful Genevo One S, which has already set new standards in mobile radar warning in Austria. The passive speed camera detector Genevo One G1S Black Edition can detect radar and laser detections, but does not affect or interfere with them.
The mobile Genevo One S Black Edition / G1S BE is equipped with GPS technology, German voice announcements, and is also compact. The HD radar antenna of its predecessor, the Genevo One S, has been replaced in the Black Edition with an Ultra HD radar antenna, which offers the best reception of all available mobile radar detectors in the Ka band.
The most significant difference from previous Genevo One radar detectors is the improved warning time, black lacquered design elements, and a high-quality dot matrix display with illuminated white lettering. Additionally, the device features special software to minimize false alarms from your onboard radar system.

* Limitations regarding laser measurement warnings in Austria: The Genevo One product line can display laser sources and laser measurements, although there is a limitation in Austria. The laser pistol used in Austria operates with a signal that is usually NOT detected. However, the usefulness of a laser warning remains questionable, as the measurement is already complete when the warning is issued.
Compact, powerful, GPS alert
When a radar detector is alerted, the Genevo One SB Black Edition / G1S BE radar detector displays this information on the display and simultaneously announces the exact source (the exact radar band, speed camera type, or laser source) that triggered the alarm using a German voice. When approaching an active radar, the signal strength is also reported via a beep to indicate the distance to the source.
You can also save and delete your own GPS locations, known as POIs, so that no audible warning is triggered the next time you arrive at that location. The Genevo One S Black Edition / G1S BE radar detector is also capable of suppressing warnings for active radar cameras below a certain speed. This feature is particularly convenient in city traffic and at traffic lights, and saves you a lot of stress.
In the so-called "Legal Mode," the device can be used as a pure GPS-based speedometer by entering a key combination. This function is very useful if you are traveling in a country where radar detectors are prohibited. The radar warning function can be reactivated using a PC.

Particularly noteworthy are the new features the Genevo One S Black Edition offers compared to its predecessors. For example, it is now possible to reduce the radar advance warning range at lower speeds, so you are warned of a radar camera in city traffic in a timely manner, but not unnecessarily early. Furthermore, the Genevo One G1 S Black Edition features filter functions that significantly improve compatibility with your in-vehicle cruise control/distance radar.
