Introducing our E9X M3 Carbon Fiber Air Coil. Constructed from 100% high-quality prepreg carbon fiber, including the inner trumpets, this air coil replaces the stock plastic version and unleashes the roar of the naturally aspirated BMW V8 engine. Since BMW tunes trumpet lengths to match internal volume, changing this setting can result in a loss of power, so we kept the same volume to avoid affecting the way the car handles in terms of power delivery. While there's no performance gain from the carbon plenum, the resulting intake noise takes the M3 driving experience to a whole new level. The raw V8 rumble gives the M3 an almost CSL-like sound and is truly an exhilarating experience. We went through several iterations with different material thicknesses to fine-tune the sound, and the resulting plenum produces an almost unbelievable intake noise! ​​This plenum can be used with the OEM airbox or any other aftermarket intake system, including our own Eventuri intake systems, which provide a real power increase.
