The 13-pin Erich Jaeger electrical kit is supplied specifically for your AUDI A6 Avant. This 13-pin electrical kit is integrated into the existing data bus system of your AUDI A6 Avant. A defective trailer lighting is indicated by the vehicle's own systems. After installing the electrical kit, the vehicle must be coded for trailer operation.

This 13-pin data bus electrical kit automatically switches off the factory-installed parking aid on the AUDI A6 Avant. You do not need to modify the rear panel of your vehicle to install this vehicle-specific 13-pin electrical kit. There is already a suitable cable duct in the rear area of ​​your AUDI A6 Avant that can be used for this purpose. The electrical kit's pre-assembled socket eliminates the need to connect the respective cables separately to the trailer socket.

If you order the extension kit 10628, the trailer socket can be extended to include the charging cable function (for charging a separate battery in the trailer). Without the additional electrical kit, it is set to the permanent plus function (for operating electrical consumers in the trailer).
