Cupra Ateca 5F CB2-Gen2 exhaust flap control

Flap control CB2 for controlling the exhaust flaps via the driving modes with additional SSA and misfire memory function

With this control unit you have the possibility to control your exhaust flaps via the driving profiles and the set button.

Functions at a glance:

Driving profiles:

• Cupra / Sport: flaps permanently open
• Comfort: Open from 3000rpm / 80% accelerator (just before kickdown)
• Offroad / Eco: Open from 4500 rpm / 80% accelerator (just before kickdown)

Easy Switch (double click Set or ESC key):

• By double-clicking the ESP button (operated via the display under CAR / Setup), the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the driving profile. The automatic opening at 4500 rpm is always maintained.

Series mode / workshop mode:

• Hold down the SSA button for 7 seconds and the module will be deactivated. Everything behaves as if no module was installed. As feedback for successful activation or deactivation, the SSA lamp switches automatically.

SSA memory (available from GEN2):

• The automatic start-stop setting is saved and restored after the vehicle is started.

Misfire Memory:

• The misfire remains in Cupra mode (Individual: Engine) even after the engine has started. No more annoying switching necessary.

Notes on driving profiles when parking in Cupra mode

Without control (series)

• Ateca pre-facelift: Cupra mode remains in the display after vehicle start. However, the flaps are closed.
• Ateca facelift: Comfort mode on the display after vehicle start. Hatches closed.

With our control:

• Ateca pre-facelift: Cupra mode remains on the display after vehicle start. Flaps open.
• Ateca facelift: Comfort mode on the display after vehicle start. Hatches open.

Assembly

• Installation is plug and play in the footwell behind the A-pillar trim (instructions are included in delivery).

Additional features

• Can be retrofitted at any time without leaving any traces
• No error message
• This device has been specially developed for use with electrical flap systems and therefore offers safe and long-lasting operation.
