In order to transport the air to the brake ventilation outlet, a suitable inlet is essential. The M2 Competition already has inlet channels in the front bumper as standard, but these end in the middle of the wheel arch. In order to prevent the air from swirling around randomly in the wheel arch, we have developed an extension of the air duct, which can be installed with minimal effort and guides the air around the wheel and connects it to the outlet via a hose.

For many vehicles, brake cooling is recommended even under moderate loads, even outside of the race track. This not only improves braking performance, but also drastically reduces wear on the friction partners. Our armature plate uses the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. We specifically flow the air onto the disc at a defined angle to avoid any scattering losses and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible. The lightweight construction in combination with powdered aluminum means that the armature plate is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and insensitive. In addition, the bearings closest to the brake disc are shielded from the heat to increase their service life (if necessary).

IMPORTANT: The different models vary slightly in the wheel position, coupled with different chassis geometries and wheel and tire combinations, it is impossible for us to cover all variants. In the worst case, the wheel could rest slightly on the ground when the steering is fully turned (which should only be the case when parking), which cannot cause any damage to the tire. In this case, we would ask you to refrain from making the last ¼ of the steering turns.
