Audi RS3 8V CB2 exhaust flap control

Flap control CB2 for controlling the exhaust flaps via the Drive Select with additional SSA and misfire memory function

With this control unit you have the option to control your exhaust flaps via the Drive Select and the ESP button.

Functions at a glance:

• Drive Select (Individual: Engine sound):
• Dynamic: flaps permanently open
• Auto: Open from 3000rpm / 80% accelerator (just before kickdown)
• Comfort: Open from 4500 rpm / 80% accelerator (just before kickdown)

Easy Switch (Double Click ESP):

• By double-clicking the ESP button, the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the Drive Select. The automatic opening at 4500 rpm is always maintained.

Series mode / workshop mode:

• Hold down the SSA button for 7 seconds and the module will be deactivated. Everything behaves as if no module was installed. As feedback for successful activation or deactivation, the SSA lamp switches automatically.

Gearbox S-detection:

• As soon as you set the transmission to S, both flaps open. (Function only available with original transmission coding)

SSA Memory:

• The automatic start-stop setting is saved and restored after the vehicle is started.

Misfire Memory:

• The misfire remains in Dynamic (Individual: engine/gearbox) even after the engine has started. No more annoying gear shifting necessary.
  • Does NOT apply to the RS3 8V facelift with OPF. The Misfire was no longer programmed by Audi at the factory. Therefore, there can be no functioning Misfire memory function.

Assembly

• Installation is plug and play in the footwell behind the A-pillar trim (instructions are included in delivery).
