Audi Q8 e-tron rear view camera retrofit package

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera - suitable for your AUDI Q8 e-tron.

+ Optical display of the live image on the screen as well as the active and moving auxiliary lines when steering

+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear or by pressing the parking aid button

+ with cleaning function of the rear view camera lens

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completely automatically activates the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

NO further coding work with a tester and NO activation with an SVM activation code from an AUDI partner is necessary.

Installation time: approx. 4 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles of the model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) or vehicles of previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera / Rear Assist is possible on all AUDI Q8 e-tron models (including Sportback) of all years of manufacture with all installed MMI multimedia systems (e.g. PR number: I8T, 7UG, I8V, I8E) as well as all equipment variants.

Suitable for all AUDI Q8 e-tron models with all parking aid systems such as: front + rear parking aid (PR no.: 7X2), parking steering assistant (PR no.: 7X5), preparation for parking steering assistant (PR no.: 9X9) and also suitable for your AUDI without parking aid (PR no.: 7X0).

The existing handle bar of the tailgate is replaced 1:1 with the original AUDI Q8 e-tron handle bar with integrated camera.

The original Y-connector supplied adapts the factory-installed water hose of the rear window wiper - so the very convenient cleaning function of the rear camera also works. Unfortunately, the cleaning function is not available on AUDI Q8 e-tron Sportback models (= PR no.: K5B) without a rear window wiper.

The display is dynamic - i.e. active - with 100% ALL functions as installed at the factory.
