Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original parking steering assistant in your AUDI Q7 4M.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original parking steering assistant / PLA is possible on all AUDI Q7 / SQ7 4M models with existing parking aid at the front + rear (= PR no.: 7X4).

Since every AUDI Q7 4M already has an electromechanical steering system as standard, the automatic parking process can be retrofitted.

The PLA sensors are installed flush at the rear (as installed at the factory) - at the front of the vehicle, these PLA sensors are installed in oval brackets and slightly recessed. Unfortunately, these oval brackets cannot be retrofitted as these brackets are part of the PLA bumper.

So that you can still easily retrofit the parking steering assistant, you have two options to choose from:

1. Installation of a front bumper with PLA brackets (= installation of a new front bumper with PLA function).

2. Flush installation also at the front using the brackets included in this complete package which make this possible (visually this is like installing flush PDC sensors) - we have not had any negative experiences with flush installation to date, measuring the parking space also works here - thus an even cheaper retrofit is possible (see product images which show this flush installation).

The PLA sensors at the rear of the vehicle are also mounted almost flush at the factory (like the PDC sensors).

Approximate assembly instructions:

Remove the front and rear bumpers.

Insert the four new PLA sensors.

Connect these new sensors to the existing parking aid cable set using the cable sets provided.

Then route these cable sets to the central electrics control unit, which is also already installed and always factory-ready. This is located in the driver's footwell.

Finally, the button strip is also replaced - no wiring is necessary for this.
