Significantly upgrade your AUDI Q7 4M with the original hill start assist / hill hold.

After retrofitting this assistance system, your AUDI Q7 will automatically stop on the spot WITHOUT having to keep the brake pedal permanently pressed.

A very convenient function, especially in traffic jams, slow-moving traffic or at traffic lights, which is very easy to retrofit.

Here we provide you with the complete package for the installation of this additional equipment, often also called "Auto-Hold".

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here, with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you, completely automatically activates the hill start assist / HillHold.

In addition, the so-called automatic handbrake is also activated.

When you turn off the engine, the handbrake is automatically applied and released again when you start driving, so you no longer have to press the handbrake button yourself.

In addition, during activation (= coding with the KECODI), you can select the release threshold of the hill start assist yourself in the levels "earlier", "normal" or "later".

"Earlier" means that hill start assist requires less forceful application of the accelerator pedal, thus making for a less jerky start. The "Normal" setting is used with a factory-installed hill start assist. "Later" means that a slightly stronger application of the accelerator pedal is required when starting your AUDI.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles of the model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) or vehicles of the previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Retrofitting the original Hill Hold / Auto Hold / Hill Start Assist is possible on all AUDI Q7 / SQ7 4M models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants with automatic transmission.

Functional description:

You can stop on a slope WITHOUT USING THE BRAKE PEDAL without rolling backward or forward.

You can leave the automatic gearshift lever on D/S and take your foot off the brake - the vehicle will ALWAYS stay in one place without moving - by pressing the accelerator pedal your AUDI will start moving again immediately (even if the start/stop system is switched on).

With manual transmissions it is sufficient to operate the clutch with the gear engaged OR, as with automatic models, not to operate any pedal at all.

You no longer need to apply the parking brake if you want to get out of the vehicle for a short time, etc.

When you park your AUDI you no longer have to use the handbrake - after pressing the start/stop button the engine switches off AND the parking brake is automatically applied (the handbrake is activated).

You can activate or deactivate the system at any time by pressing a button on the new switch.
