Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original camera-assisted lane keeping assistant - suitable for your AUDI Q5 FY.

This means your AUDI steers itself when you leave your lane - a very pleasant safety plus for your AUDI Q5!

In addition, the traffic jam assistant is also activated at the same time on models with an already installed ACC radar sensor and automatic transmission.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles of the model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) or vehicles of previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original lane keeping assistant / active lane assist is possible on all AUDI Q5 / SQ5 FY models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) as well as all equipment variants with a built-in front driving camera in the windscreen (= PR number: QK1, installed as standard).

We supply the identical steering column lever as currently installed, but with an additional button for the lane departure warning system. To make this possible, please enter the chassis number during the ordering process.

If currently only one SpeedLimiter (= PR number: 8T9) is installed, we recommend installing the retrofit package with article number: 15530 in order to retrofit the cruise control / speed control system at the same time.

If the cruise control system with SpeedLimiter (= PR number: 8T6) is currently installed, it will continue to function normally. The buttons on the lower lever have nothing to do with the lane departure warning system supplied here. We do not offer a retrofit to a radar-based ACC cruise control system.

If the radar-based ACC cruise control system (PR number: 8T8) is already installed, the traffic jam assistant is also available after installing this retrofit package supplied here.

For models with a HeadUp Display, the new assistance system "lane assist" is of course also shown as a projection in the windshield in addition to the display in the speedometer / virtual cockpit.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the additional function with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The final basic setting of the steering angle or steering is done with a standard diagnostic system such as VCDS or ODIS; unfortunately, this is currently not possible with the KECODI.

Functional description:

The Audi active lane assist gently intervenes in the steering before the lane markings are crossed and comfortably supports the driver in staying in lane (functional range from approx. 60 to a maximum of 250 km/h).

If the system is activated and ready and the driver has not activated the indicator, the Audi active lane assist helps to guide the vehicle within recognized driving lane lines by gently correcting the steering.

The driver can choose whether he wants to be supported continuously or only shortly before crossing the lane markings (steering times can be selected early/late); in addition, the steering wheel vibration can be adjusted according to the driver's wishes.

Since the system is not always required in practice, e.g. during long journeys on straight roads or in construction sites, the lane assist can be conveniently switched off at any time using the new button on the left steering column stalk.

The traffic jam assistant is a subsystem of the adaptive cruise control system (ACC). In the speed range up to 65 km/h, it can assist the driver with steering in vehicles with automatic transmission (activation is NOT possible in vehicles with manual transmission / hand switch). The system uses the radar sensors already installed at the factory and the front camera. The traffic jam assistant guides the vehicle using gentle steering movements, orienting itself using lane markings and other vehicles on the road. When the traffic jam assistant reaches its system limits - for example, when the traffic jam clears or a tight bend lies ahead - the driver must take over driving again. If he does not do so, the system warns him in several stages. As a last resort, it automatically brings the car to a safe stop.
