After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here carries out the complete automatic activation with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original heated mirror glasses / mirror heating is possible on all AUDI Q5 / SQ5 8R models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift or facelift) as well as all equipment variants.

These AUDI original parts supplied here are assembled for you according to the chassis number provided, thus suitable for all models (e.g. with PR number: 5SL, 5SJ, 5SG, 6TS, 5RU, 6XD, 6XE, 6XC, 6TQ).

Your AUDI detects how warm or cold it is using the factory-installed temperature sensor and switches the mirror heating on or off.

NO cable laying is necessary as the cables from the rotary switch to the mirror glasses are always already installed at the factory.

It is NOT necessary to replace the mirror rotation switch, only the display (where there is currently only a "line") is replaced.

If the rotary knob is in the middle position, the mirror glasses are heated (depending on the outside temperature).

If you turn the knob away from the middle to the left or right mirror then the heating is turned off.
