After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completely automatically activates the rear speakers with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

Installation time: approx. 3 hours

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the speakers in the rear area is possible on all AUDI Q4 e-tron models of all years of manufacture with currently only front-mounted speakers (= PR number: 8RE).

Installing speakers in the two rear doors significantly expands the sound system!

The door panel does not need to be replaced, only the two speakers are mounted at the existing points inside the rear doors and connected to the multimedia system using the supplied cable set.
