Audi Q3 F3 electrically folding mirror retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your Audi Q3 F3 with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original folding mirrors in your AUDI Q3 F3.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door and via the new menu item in your MMI multimedia system in which you can set whether the mirrors should fold in automatically when you lock your AUDI Q3 F3. As installed at the factory.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI APP, which is already pre-configured for you, to completely automatically activate the automatically folding exterior mirrors - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

• - 1x Original AUDI Q3 F3 outside mirror electrically folding left (depending on model)
• - 1x Original AUDI Q3 F3 outside mirror electrically folding right (depending on model)
• - 1x Original AUDI Q3 F3 mirror rotation switch (depending on model)
• - 1x original AUDI Q3 F3 armrest driver's side (depending on model)
• - 1x activation function (= software / coding / activation) for one vehicle
• - 1x KECODI coding interface
• - 1x KECODI coding interface storage box
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original automatically / electrically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all AUDI Q3 / RSQ3 F3 models of all equipment variants, all body styles (including Sportback) and all years of manufacture.

Product compatibility:

Please check whether the two front door control units currently installed are capable of the Highline equipment of the electrically folding exterior mirrors (experience shows that these are about 75% capable and do NOT need to be replaced). You can check this by reading the part number with a diagnostic system (e.g. KECODI or VCDS) or by reading the part number directly from the door control unit.

The third to last digit of the part number is important. This must be "5". "3" is unfortunately not possible and must be replaced. Here are some examples:

Structure of the part number: XX0-959-?9X - the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

Driver's side: 5Q0959593 = a "5" - thus suitable

Driver's side: 5Q0959393 = a "3" - therefore not suitable

Passenger side: 5Q0959592 = a "5" - thus suitable

Passenger side: 5Q0959392 = a "3" - therefore not suitable

If it is necessary to replace the door control units, these can be ordered under item number: 22011.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they DO NOT need to be replaced.

The cover around the current mirror rotation switch will be replaced because you will later have one more position which can be selected with the rotation switch supplied here.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
