The retrofitting of the original automatically dimming interior mirror is possible on all AUDI Q3 / RSQ3 8U models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) and all equipment variants.

This retrofit package is necessary for converting the currently manually dimmable interior mirror to the much more convenient automatically dimming interior mirror.

Of course, we can supply you with the exact interior mirror that fits your model - if your current mirror is grey or black, for example, we can of course also supply a grey or black mirror.

Please select the desired interior mirror.

"old" design = factory installed up to model year 2016.

"new" design = factory installed from model year 2017.

The "new" design also fits models up to model year 2016 and vice versa, so you can install any variant.

A windshield with preparation for an automatically dimming mirror is required.

If your AUDI already has a plastic bar that runs from the interior reading light to the interior mirror, the current windshield is suitable and does NOT need to be replaced. The mirror is simply removed and reattached.

If your AUDI already has a light/rain sensor, for example, the existing window is ALWAYS capable.

If your interior mirror is only attached to the window with an adhesive dot without a running plastic bar, the window is not suitable and must be replaced with a front window with an integrated metal holder for the higher quality mirrors.

You are also welcome to send us an email with your chassis number - we will check whether you can continue to use the current windshield.

If the current windscreen is actually NOT capable, the conversion is a good idea, for example if the windscreen is being replaced after a stone impact, etc.

The interior mirror also includes the mount for the light/rain sensor.

For models WITH an existing light/rain sensor, the existing sensor is simply transferred to the new mirror.

Finally, NO coding work is required for this retrofit - the electrically dimming exterior mirror works immediately.
