Significantly upgrade your AUDI Q3 8U with the original AMI audi music interface.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original AMI system in your AUDI Q3 8U.

You can connect your smartphone / cell phone, an AUX-IN source or a USB stick (or micro USB / mini USB) to this interface which is connected to your MMI navigation system.

The system is fully operated via the new menu item in your MMI and via the multifunction steering wheel.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the retrofit using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original AMI interface (audi music interface) is possible on all AUDI Q3 / RSQ3 8U models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) with installed MMI3G+ Navigation Plus (= PR number: 7T6 / navigation data on hard drive).

NOT suitable for your AUDI without navigation system (PR number: 7Q0)

NOT suitable for your AUDI with RMC Low navigation system (PR number: 7T2)

The cable set starts at the MMI unit in the center console and runs, depending on the installation location you want, into the glove compartment OR to the storage compartment in the center console. The cable set must be fitted into this compartment. A recess for the AMI plug is required for this. This can be done very easily, for example, with a carpet knife.

Any CD changer that may already be installed does not need to be uninstalled.

The AMI interface is installed "in addition" to this.

To connect, you will also need the device adapter you require (e.g. USB / micro USB / iPod / AUX-IN and the latest generation for Apple devices with authentication chip). These can also be ordered from us at any time.
