Significantly upgrade your Audi Q2 GA with the original lane change assistant / side assist.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the radar-assisted lane change assistant in your AUDI Q2 GA.

Your AUDI Q2 warns you of hidden dangers / vehicles that are, for example, in your blind spot - a very pleasant safety plus.

Scope of delivery:

• - 1x original AUDI Q2 GA side assist radar sensor left (depending on model)
• - 1x original AUDI Q2 GA side assist radar sensor right (depending on model)
• - 2x original AUDI Q2 GA mirror caps with warning lights (optional / depending on model)
• - 1x various original AUDI Q2 mounting material (depending on model)
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original lane change assistant / side assist is possible on all AUDI Q2 / SQ2 GA models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) and all equipment variants.

side assist = radar sensors in the rear bumper - every bumper always has the necessary mounts installed.

The two mirror housings with the integrated warning displays for the side assist can be ordered optionally.

If, for example, you would like to install completely different exterior mirrors (e.g. because you would also like to convert to folding exterior mirrors / second-hand exterior mirrors, etc.), you do not need to order the mirror caps including warning displays.

If you wish, we can deliver these to you already painted in the correct color - so you receive a retrofit package ready for installation.

Painting work is carried out by a master automotive paint shop using the chassis number provided / the paint code stored there.

Models with currently installed SQ2 mirror caps in "aluminium / matt aluminium" can also be supplied on request (+ approx. 450EUR).

For models without a diagnostic interface / Gateway Highline already installed, this control unit must be replaced. You can order this optionally at any time or order it separately under article number: 16906.

Check whether the current diagnostic interface is suitable:

Connect vehicle to VCDS - open address 19 - in the info field appears e.g.:

Gateway HIGH = high = suitable (control unit does not need to be replaced)

Gateway MED = medium = not suitable

Gateway LOW = low = not suitable

INFO: AUDI Q2 models which, for example, have a multifunction steering wheel, navigation with touch input or an assistance system such as ACC / lane assist etc. always have a suitable HIGH gateway installed at the factory - this therefore does not need to be replaced.
